Here's something similar to the top one. It's from ozone clothing which in essence is a 50's/rockabilly site. Some nice pieces on there though.

The blue and the pink are both beauties, Woody, good call!

It's a tricky one, Laird. Looking at it from a purely legal standpoint, the contract has been frustrated in that neither party to the contract has got what they agreed to. But there is an argument that Sala was on his way to complere the deal, so intent was there. Can see it ending up in court. Morally, Cardiff should pay up but morality in football isn't in abundance.

Patrick, the Canadian who does the Parka Avenue blog, is a friendly guy who I struck up a nice rapport with on Twitter. Great source for rare tunes (cost me a feckin' fortune), but he does seem to have disappeared off there, and his blog seems to be dying a slow death. This place (and it's associated sites), plus Monkey and Ian's blogs, is really all the discerning modernist needs!

[cough] rodsmodblog.wordpress.com [cough]

Very remiss of me, Rod, your blog is essential reading too!  ;)

Brilliant news!! Hats off to Adam for the sponsorship, Dave for committing to another year and to Martin and Rod who were/are prepared to step into the breach. Nice one, lads  8)

I an certainly guilty of not posting as much as I should. Sadly, my work/life balance is all over the place at the minute so, whilst I pop in and peruse every day when I get the chance, I have little to offer on a daily basis. Hopefully things will settle down soon and that will change.

Hope so Doc,

Always value your input bud.

Thank you for the kind words, Woody, much appreciated.  :)

A great keeper (maybe the finest these shores has produced, though I'd personally put Jennings ahead of him) and, from all accounts, a gentleman too. Sad news.

Can only echo what's already been said. Happy to contribute, but that input would be fiscal only, as my tech skills leave a lot to be desired. Is a Facebook group an alternative? I don't use it personally, but I imagine there are similar group pages kicking about on there.

If it is to be the end of this forum, then a huge thanks to Dave for all his hard work over the years. Has been a great resource for all things modernist, plus some that aren't. And a brilliant way to meet fellow travellers.

Ive seen the long sleeve light blue 1 in the Newburg Street shop. It is a thing of real beauty but it's 173. Im waiting till it's in the sale.

Wise move, Ross!

I like all of them, GS, but I bet they're at the upper end of the polo price range. I'm sure I saw some others in the reissue range at 150 for a short sleeve number, but I may be wrong.
