Steve - didn't know ZARA made vintage styled cycling tops - are they THAT popular? Nice btw. How long can a 12 quid anything last ? Keep us updated as I am curious to know (I take it it was on SALE for that price?)

Love them, not these particularly as these are just modern versions of the originals. Especially do not like how the letters are knitted along with the sweater rather than getting the proper felt letters and have them stitched on them as they did back then (As Brian said, buy the letters and stitch them on).

Of course Letterman sweaters have been around since the 30's (?) and well into the 70's and still now, so defo not a 50's thing exclusively. I had them (Letterman jacket) for my school in the 80s (Football, as in Soccer). I currently have an original letterman jacket (orange) and luckily enough with my initial on it so very lucky find.

PS Penny loafers were not worn by original mods and actually were more of a 50's thing too, and since the 80's for some reason are a mod staple - who cares I say. If it looks good then go for it.

Brian - try this fellow a try: artisan belts made by himself, lovely presentation, great quality and attention to detail, and you can ask him for what you are looking for and should be able to sort you out

He is in the mod scene too so knows what you want. I just received mine today and am very pleased with it. A fellow small-business owner worth supporting IMO

I wear Wayfarer for some years now and have recently purchased some 30's vintage frames (eye glasses not shades).

For you London based folks this place is awsome and not too expansive

Lovely some of the the UNdandy ones, lovely looking style to the toe and from the pictures I do not think they look too long as most modern brands do. Actually in the comparison I think the Red WIngs (which look hiddeaous IMO) look longer with a bulkier toe cap and the white ones seem spot on (I too do not like the modern long lasts so many now have). I think  for the price they are being sold (which is a decent price but they are made in Spain and Portugal so not too expensive to get decent shoes made here) should have more spcifications on what type of construction they use (as in cemented sole or stitched). I am by no means picky in this case (my Italian made DNA shoes are cemented contruction and are some of the most comfortable and durable shoes I have ever had)  but again, as the prices aren't on the cheap side of Spain and especially Portuguese price-ranges, they should say this. Some of them seem to be cemented and some look stitched (but most cemented shoes have false stiching) and so that is quite expenive for local-made shoes.

MOst of the Wescott ones are very standard and conservative, something seen just about everywhere, whilst ore creativity in the Undandy ones.

Ah right, sorry missed the collar bit. Yep these are off but is an exception as the others are alligned as seen on this link here

Probably these were the last ones on the roll and they ran out of fabric to match the collars. Something that doesn't bother me personally but is a good detail to have  :)
