Lee,

I think Weller likes to go against the stereotypical Mod look for the most part. Hair as well in the last few years.
I can understand this from his point of view, must be murder running into so many dress/lookalikes.
Thought the rugby shirt looked ok,the ripped denims and white boots not so much. I'm sure he'll not lose any sleep over what we think though.

As for the show,I felt the musicianship/arrangements from the band and orchestra were top class. Steve craddock is a tremendous guitarist.Even the camera angles added to the whole experience.

Just taken delivery Martin.

Fits perfectly...wish the navy one was still instock. I'd have had one of them too.

Just got a hold of the new Give Out Ady,a great album. Bobby was on 6music a few weeks ago discussing it...great wee insights, always a character!

Currently listening to True Meanings by Weller.

Best thing he's done for years. There's always a good few on each new album that I like but this is a real cohesive body of work. Aspects,White Horses and Mayfly the standouts for me.

Also like the new The Good, the Bad and the Queen track Merrie Land.

If anyone missed this,it can be found on the new BBC sounds app.

Really enjoyed it,some great versions of Jam/SC/solo stuff.

Hi Paddy,

Heard there were a few reprobates from my neck of the woods down for this. I'm sure they all behaved themselves! ;)

When is the next one bud?

As discussed of late the whole controversy surrounding the dreaded, or not, Cardigan amongst our merry band. Not much of a picture poster as you know but wanted to show, I hope, that even a fella in his mid 50s can pull off a cardie without looking too much like a Grandad. As promised to GS the Smart Weston vintage corduroy fronted one. Then a GUS from ART GALLERY both accompanied with a Mikkell Rude shirt and LVC 501s. Then a cheap as you like eBay Shawl Collar about 20 a few years back with a Uniqlo sweat. Finally a Zara zipper cardie that I liked as it reminded me a bit of the ones from OUR MAN FLINT but finding it increasingly reminds me of a 'Casual' trackie top. Anyhow cardies for every occassion and not just Christmas!

Hi Martin,

First post from me for a while, been mad busy at work and home.

Anyway just ordered the Art Gallery Cardi in tan in the sale. How is the fit on this? I'm a regular 40" so went with the medium. Looking forward to receiving it along with the pipe of course.

Hope you're well mate!
