Seen both, Claire and have the novel of That'll Be The Day. You'll enjoy them.

Like the henleys, I stop wearing my FPs since they've been commandeered by RW hate groups in the US lately...

Sorry to hear that, Mike, a shame that kind of association prevent you from wearing a brand we like. That was the case here some years ago, but fortunately not anymore. BTW I love the henley too

They prefer the black w/ gold tipping polos. There's also another neo nazi group that were wearing chinos and BD shirts, and even another armed fringe group that identifies itself with Hawaiian print shirts...
It's crazy times now in the States, I hate to say.
That said, I bought the white/black tipped henley ;) Hopefully no group other than "California Surfers" will take up that look!

Fred Perry take action.

Fred Perry has pulled one of its famous polo shirts after it became associated with a neo-fascist organisation.

Heard about that on BBC World Service, they are withdrawing it from the States and Canada.

Received three of the new Jackpot shirts from Mod Shoes this week (I'm getting some of my Christmas presents in early  ;D).

1. The Blue, Red, Orange Large Tartan L/S - https://www.modshoes.co.uk/product/the-jackpot-blue-red-orange-large-tartan-high-collar-button-down-long-sleeve-shirt-mod-skin-style-copy/
2. The Brown, Orange, White Tartan S/S (I wanted the L/S but they'd already sold out in my size  :() - https://www.modshoes.co.uk/product/the-jackpot-brown-orange-white-tartan-high-collar-button-down-short-sleeve-shirt-mod-skin-style/
3. The Turquoise Tartan L/S - https://www.modshoes.co.uk/product/the-jackpot-turquoise-tartan-high-collar-button-down-long-sleeve-shirt-mod-skin-style/

I then went on the site last night to see they've released further Monkey Jackets in new colours.  Pondering the Caramel, which I think would go nicely with a few tops I've got.  Now, who can I ask to get me this for Christmas  ;D

The Jackpot is the show's stealer to me, Chilli, but Andy's shirts are a deserved sucess. Enjoy them!

Err, which one Rafa; they're all Jackpot shirts  ;D

I'm sure I will get to enjoy them; eventually  :(

Sorry, you're right, I meant this one: https://www.modshoes.co.uk/product/the-jackpot-turquoise-tartan-high-collar-button-down-long-sleeve-shirt-mod-skin-style/
Unfortunately , not in small faces sizing. .

Andrew told me they'd try to cover all sizes, Simon, as he himself has tiny mates, but maybe not with these. The racing jacket I bought from him was a S and fit was quite good if a bit on the wide side.

I have a couple of pairs of shoes from him and sized down on both. Nice shirts but l am clearly not a 38" so don't wear that size . When l walked into buy my Argyll kilt jacket the guy said to me , "Ah you're a 34"  . To my great surprise it fitted whereas l would generally buy a 36" .
Sizing is all over the shop nowadays.  Claudio is the same size as me so l just ask him if the item fits him l( if l were buying from him) lol

I have the same issue, but in trousers/skirts. Sometimes I can be a 6, 8 or 10! It always depends on which brand you buy. Fortunately when I buy vintage dresses, I'll have them all altered to fit as buying my size 6/8 (Twiggy) is extremely rare.  :o

As for shoes, I am a UK 6, AUS 8, US 8 or 9, EU 39. I have a second hand pair of Weejuns (best $6 investment ever) at a US 8.5 that fit perfect too.

Somewhat off topic but ... garage shelving to stash all my shoes.
As I explained in the blog post, sick of dedicated shoe racks not being wide enough to accommodate shoes in pairs so I found the perfect solution:

Full details on the blog.

Great idea Rod! I think I may take your idea and use it for my shoes and handbags...  ;D

Review Australia black top with fold-over collar
Jacqui E black capris with sheer stockings underneath
1960s, Mod, black/off white gogo boots by HiBrows... pity I can't go dancing anywhere...  :(

GREAT pic, Becky! Not the usual go-go boots indeed, lovely, a shame you can't dance with them on in a club  :-\

Thanks!  :D

They're ankle-length go-gos. I have a matching pair in the more traditional style and length. Same brand also. I don't wear them much as they were quite costly and rare.

I've just ordered my copy via the Book Depository website. Looking forward to reading it!

Still not received mine, Becky, Amazon Spain's being lazy with that one  >:(, expected for next week, fingers crossed.

Australia's worse when it comes to getting books, music etc. I couldn't order RSG on Amazon AU.  >:(

I was talking to my Australian Buddie on Monday , sounds like what is going on down under right now isnae very good . .

Received my pre-ordered copy today in the post. I had totally forgotten about the fact that I did that!  ;D The one I bought the other day I am hoping to sell to my ex for the price I paid for it on release day... Well, worth the money at any price, I must say...
You're right about Australia, SB. Australia is in the middle of a recession thanks to the virus. The only [temporary] "good thing" is that my welfare benefits have doubled until at least New Year's Eve.   :o
