Fashion for sale or wanted / Fred Perry, rare Levis, and Breton shirts
« on: August 10, 2015, 03:24:54 AM »
Hi everybody,

I've got a few basics up in my Grailed shop here: https://www.grailed.com/users/myitems/8380-deepan

Fred Perry polos (including slim fit and Made in Japan), jumpers, and super rare pair of Levi's 511s in gingham fabric. I'll continue to add some contemporary and vintage mod and ivy friendly items to that space in the coming days so stay tuned!

Do note that I am in the US but I will ship internationally.

Best,
HSD

Hmmm, would you suggest this for my 1960s herringbone tweed suit or my Pendleton 49er HS?  ;D

a double dip in a pot of warm wax for both.

thank me later.

I'm surprised too. I love this kind of surf henleys, but I'm afraid the MTM option might be too expensive, after all they're not too far from a T-shirt. BTW I own one with the vents at the bottom, not a detail I care too much for but it doesn't ruin the top either.

I spent about 80usd on this one. The cost was fair to me, given all the ones i've come across on ebay haven't been cheap and have been hard to come across in my size.

Being able to dial in the sizing of all shirts via MTM is a godsend though and well worth the cost.

Havent received it yet but i had Luxire copy a surfer shirt for me. I didnt ask for the vents at the bottom and quite surprised they did it without asking me first but who knows it may like it when I put it on.

...get professional help?

Rude! Umbrella Folding is a lost art that should be a part of every gentleman's sartorial arsenal.

That said, I recommend avoiding the 'brella altogether and having all your garments waxed. I'm telling you the rain water just beads right off all my suits and sport coats after a good re-proofing with a tin of the ol' barbour thornproof dressing.

Not taking any side in particular, but  just because a style works on a celebrity or musician does not make it an endorsement for everyone. They have the charisma, good looks, make-up artists, and good lighting to back it up. Most of us don't.

That said, there's a delicate balancing act between doing what makes you feel good and confident, and a positive perception of yourself from others. Get on with your bad self, but listen to criticism when it comes.

dirty bucks, beat up white sneakers, or well worn weejuns  would pair well with that

At that price you'd think they'd at least be able to match up the pattern at the zipper

Perhaps I should start carrying a beer coozie or wear flip flops everywhere.

I see you've been following my Instagram
