It wasnt so bad in ireland back in the day. There was a coterie of Suedes that were bang on cool who were more Mod than some of the mods. Then there was the gang of boots and braces skins. On one occasion it kicked off big style and there was carnage but as all those BnB's were all ex mods it never really developed into a feud and was restricted to stink eye and mumbling till time passed and the scenes diverged/wasted away

i have noticed, as recently as last saturday whilst on the way to Pow City, a number of young BnB's around the city - quite a few clutching Flagons or cans of cider/beer. heartened to see that a few of them sporting Anti-Nazi or SHARP patches..... having said that they all look fecking surly and ready to kick off at the slightest or implied provocation.

Sorry to hear the jacket didn't turn out as you'd hoped. Maybe bung it on eBay knock a bit off and you ain't down the Swanny for the whole 30.
Martin/Greenstreet.  i always knew it was a long shot but at least with the XS i could actually get a jacket that fits and if that is close to the mark then it opens up another avenue to flesh out my wardrobe rather than going the full suit. I am going to return the jacket to uniqlo and order the smaller size. I can post from my Newry office so shouldn't be more than a few quid.

one thing i didnt factor in though was the cost of having the jacket pressed before i wear it. Still as an experiment if it works the money spent will be worth it.

got the jacket from Uniqlo yesterday and it almost hit the mark.

Bearing in mind i got size small (havent had that size in years) and the size was advertised as between 35-38 i would reckon that it is more the top end of that size and just a shade too 'loose' on me in all areas. Shoulder seam is quite low and is below apex and the sleeve is a trifle wide. All in all it looks baggy on my frame. It just doesn't look right

From a quality POV , As Martin G mentions below, its a thirty quid jacket and for the price its decent enough. Certainly will work well on the odd day in ireland when the mercury rises above normal temp.

so this one is being returned and i will get the XS and see how that fa

By the way,any decent ones still exist? Please try and pit up with me. Been off the scene many years now.

have a gander at the Issuu link in my signature to have a free read of My fanzine Sussed.... let me know what you think.
