Cheers guys. It's always a bit of a chance with on-line buys but at this price worth a pop. Yep FLIP was an amazing resource back when I was a kid and I bought many a jacket and coat there but I either shagged them out or simply grew out of them. The Long Acre shop was a destination as a teenager when up in the heart of London. Will let you know how it pans out.

Not seen it mate but may have a look. There is also that French 007 spoof series of films with a character called 117. Set in late 50s/early 60s and the fella in it looks the absolute business. Very much like how 007 was often drawn on book covers and stuff before Connery gave him physical form in the movies.

Good luck with it mate. Keep us up on how it turns out. As you say there are positive and negative to this sort of deal. Cheap enough and to the style fellas like us want. But other side of the World, label on pocket sort of thing. Not sure if you've ever tried them but although the patterned Paisley stuff is a bit on the naff side Relco window pane, tartan type or gingham stuff ain't bad for the money and not dissimilar from this mob's stuff. I've had a few of those in the past and really ain't bad for the price. On the plus side they are UK based, can be bought from most 'Mod' related shops or dealers and don't have any branding on them.

I saw them in the shop 'for reals'! You are right about the weather although currently we are scorching and have been for weeks with a bit more ahead as I understand it.

Decent looking mate. Saw a pair in UNIQLO some weeks back and toyed with the idea. Looks great on you fella especially with it being so warm.

Blimey Ross. Sorry to hear about that mate. Hope you end up with one at some point. A bit of a blow when you think you've got something sorted and it really is a cracker of a top too.
