Froomey took a bad tumble on Wednesday and is recovering in hospital after 6hrs of surgery.  He is out for the season but in a twist of circumstances,  is now likely to become the winner of the 2011 Vuelta,  after it was discovered that Cobo was positive.  This would give him 7 Grand Tour wins to date and means he is still the most successful cyclist to race under a British licence.   .

Well done to G on being the first British born cyclist to win the lap of France , well done indeed. .

The latest Mojo has the Jam on the front and covers the " rebirth of Mod" , which of course has never really went away since. .

For some on here it will cover that period of time when one became captivated by the emerging Mod scene and for that reason it is worth a buy . Some good pictures in it too . .

Baring a calamity , it looks like Froome is on course for his 4th Tour de France win which of course would  put him in the exclusive club of mulitple Tour winners. .

This years race has proven to be more exciting than recent years with the time gaps still tight going into the last couple of days . The ITT tomorrow will be the decider ,no doubt. .

See Quintana took the lead yesterday before the first rest day.

Dumoulin will be looking to take the lead in the ITT tomorrow, the rest of Week 2 is relatively easy with the bulk of the climbing saved for the third week.

Hopefully we will see some impact on the race from Thomas or Yates. .
