I can't see the entire show, though there are clips on youtube... whatever quibbles people may have with his dress/hair-do, you ave to admit, the man still can put on a show.

Yeah Martin, he does consider himself to be a devotee, and I don't question that. And I don't really have any issue with his sartorial/grooming choices (how many of us aren't guilty at some point of a poor choice? remember the 70's or 80's? ;D)
Getting back to the Jagger photo, I have a book called "The Look : Adventures in Rock and Pop Fashion" where the author deemed that era Stones look as "Art School Mod".
Personally, I find the current Watts look a great example of "age appropriate Mod dress" and I lean more towards his and most of Weller's look since I'm closer to their ages...
Wouldn't want to see Weller jumping around stage in a "Jam" suit at this point.
I'm probably in the minority here, but how many 3 button suits or cycling tops can you own?

I pretty sure the only mod in the Stones was/is Charlie... I always thought, especially lately, that Weller's influences in dress is a pretty broad 60's look (hence the pic of Jagger).
Hewing to the strict Ivy/Mod look probably is too "constraining" to him...

Actually, they do call it a "Military Jacket" on the site. And yes Laird, it's a light cotton twill...

Then I came across this one just now: https://tonicuk.com/brands/vetra/workwearjacketcord-navy/?goal=0_4d3d792cf0-fbc9d7e0fa-517936637&mc_cid=fbc9d7e0fa&mc_eid=ec8ae5a8be

Mmm, not for me, Mike; it looks too much like a safari jacket for my tastes.

Not one to go in for the "outdoorsy" look, so I didn't see that GS, probably cause it's not khaki colored.  ???

I went yesterday to the Oxford street River Island as I'd seen this jacket (link below) which looked rather nice. However, they didn't have the burgundy one but I tried the green version. A word of warning about River Island - It might look nice on their website but up close it's a bit cheap and nasty. I very nearly bought it online but decided to check it just in case which I'm very glad I did. Buyer beware!

Don't now if "Bonobos" is available where you are, but I picked up one of these a few weeks back:

I sized down to get a better fit, and don't roll the cuffs up it looks presentable and a different look from the trucker

Not seeing it either, and here I thought only the US versions of Esq./GQ had boring clothing articles...

Like most on here I do like the Beatles but my prolific days of listening to them was probably mid 8ts. The white album was probably my least favourite Beatles album it kind of misses me I reckon.

Probably Revolver is my favourite album but Rubber Soul is a close second . However my favourite song has been I Should Have Known Better , for about the last 30yrs.

A friend of mine has obsessively collected every Beatles single apart from one.

I think he needs Help. .

Revolver is definitely up there for me too. "Tomorrow Never Knows" is my favorite all time Beatles tune.

Last ones I bought from them were from the "Candy Stripe" line they did what seems like ages ago. maybe a few after that but as soon as they went to that 2 finger collar, Iost . My Brooks Bros.button downs have a nicer collar.
