Just wanting some Ideas for Modish Summer Clothes as its far to warm for parkas and blazers, any Ideas? 8)

What did you have in mind, something casual or something a little more formal than shorts? Living where I do,shorts are almost indispensable but I try to reserve them for around the house. I am very curious to see if this thread gets continued as it seems like there is a lot of room for development here.

Were you looking for just a gasket set or a gasket with floats, needles, etc? Also, did were you looking to buy locally or online?

I think I also applied some mink oil or saddle soap to mine as well during the break in period...just to help soften them up. Good luck with yours!

They might fit a little tight to start, but keep in mind they will stretch.....when I bought my first pair they were more stiff than snug, but it was summer and I would just go for evening walks in the neighborhood in them and they stretched out nicely.

Mod fashion and style / Re: Pocket square for linen jacket

Well, since the jacket is a dark blue with a large light blue and pumpkin check, I may just try to find a few linens in one of those colors...the only reason I avoided silk is that the overall look would be les formal and I thought silk would be out of place....thanks for the comments everyone, I appreciate the advise.

Mod fashion and style / Pocket square for linen jacket

Popping this question for debate, when wearing a white cotton shirt with a dark linen coat, is it more advisable to wear a white cotton pocket square to mimic the shirt,  or a white linen square to go more with the jacket? Scenario would be a warm day, outsite, and with no tie.

I know I have the photo on my pc at home, but I recall a picture of Frank Sinatra at the horse track with Mia Farrow, and he was sporting a navy suit, rep tie, and what looked to be a yellow tattersaw vest....looked very sharp....
