Blimey mate  you look great for that age! Take any remark about you being young or 'a lad' as the hugest of compliments fella. I guess seeing you at a graduation adds to the sense of youthfulness too so please take no offence from anything any of the guys said. Most of us here are some way over the 50 mark so even a 40 year old is a 'kid' to us. As noted you look spot on in my book regardless of age. The clobber did the talking.

Beyond lovely mate! Absolute class from top to bottom. If that was black and white and grainy I'd think it was from the US in 1964. Spot on.

That is a blinder mate. You wear it well too. Interesting colour scheme so a bit different to the norm for these type of jackets. A winner.

Thanks guys. I bought them more than ten years ago and to be honest probably wouldn't wear them now anyhow because as noted they are very Small Faces/George Harrison type of thing but too bloody gorgeous to get rid of. Who knows if the guys at DR WATSON or any other shoe maker frequents these parts but I'd be more than happy to donate these if they wanted to replicate them.

Lovely aren't they. As I explained almost from the first wearing I knew something was up but I guess buying vintage does sometimes have its problems but like I say I'm happy just to own them if I am able to wear them or not.

These are the vintage pair I mentioned. Too fragile to wear as noted but too lovely to chuck out I feel.

The old Corduroy shoe discussion. I love the fabric and have had a few pairs of shoes over the years. Sadly they don't last too long(As I learnt as a kid living and dying in a pair I particularly loved) Bought a vintage pair some years back but given their 1960s production date they were a problem almost from the first wear. The glue was very dry and sole began to flap away. Re-glued at the menders and they lasted a couple more wears but in the end I gave up on them preferring now to keep them to gaze at occasionally.

In the voice of Alan 'Fluff' Freeman looks like UNIQLO are already "Just bubbling under the top 20"  mate but also heartily agree on their inclusion.

Very nicely laid out and compiled piece for definite. I'd agree with the selections and the advise too re keeping an open mind to various other stores and never to simply be a 'Paint-By-Numbers' sort of character. I've probably had stuff from almost all the male-based sites/shops you mention with rarely a problem either on-line or in-store. Great read. Thanks!
