Nice one Adam. It is a main date in our calendar as pals of mine have vintage cars but this year because of what looked like bad weather initially chose not to take them. Glad you enjoyed your time and Saturday night especially.

Those glasses are pretty nice mate. Lovely in fact. Can't say I am too much of a fan of any of that knitwear mate. A bit too sort of 'chunky' if you know what I mean.

Agreed mate very nice. Love Corduroy and the style is a classic of course but prices are very high with these guys.

Both of those are very nice. Really capture an early 60s Ivy type thing too. Pricey though of course so I will perhaps just worship from afar.

Like it mate. I often do similar myself. Works for blokes like us but has that classic '60s Spy thing' going on too. Spot on.

Films / TV / Re: Who/Quadrophenia night oan Sky Arts tonight (Sept 21st)

I watched a good few of the programmes, both old and new, over the weekend. For good or bad I was entertained by all of them. The Bradley Wiggins thing was pretty good I thought as it covered quite a lot of ground from the 'We Are The Mods' type thing to that footage in the 'Scene' as it is now. I'll always be a fan of the film QUADROPHENIA so thoroughly welcomed the two programmes. Despite having attended a variety of events and gatherings with actors and such like seeing that line-up was lovely. Well worth a look.

Lovely bit of knitwear there mate. I will be down for a new pair of Brown Sta-Press in a few weeks when seeing PP Arnold in your neck of the woods. Looking forward to it of course.

A great little read. Cheers mate. Looking forward to the documentary tomorrow night. I went to one of the 'celebration' events with cast and crew earlier this year and been to a few similar events previous and it is lovely seeing these people now so comfortable now embracing something they shunned for years. People really do feel something for the movie and as noted ain't really a 'Mod' film at all but a film about youngsters and their ups and downs.
