I dont know if there constructed the same but Adam of London suits are half canvassed I believe.
Edit: most so-called designer suits 2 or 3 times the price of JTG and AoL are fused. If someone has that cash to spend why not go bespoke?? Convenience and ignorance I suppose.
AoL and JTG are constructed exactly the same.

sorry ran out, end of year maybe more. I also agree with cba, french cuff and button down is not for me either.

You're right detroitmike. 41" chest would never get in our 15.5" collar, sorry.

from my experience. A 15" collar in his shirts would fit a 36" chest loosely and a 38" chest better. A 15.5" collar is much nearer a 38" chest and wouldn't be super slim in my opinion.
Our JTG 15" collar is only good for up to a 36" chest maximum, very fitted. They don't work on everyone....
I wear an Adam tab 15" which is ok on the body but not really very fitted and I measure 36". You could always take it in.

« on: May 21, 2013, 03:54:34 PM »i have a JTG gingham and ive never been massively happy with it. its a soft "cheescloth?" type material which lacks the "structure" of, say a ben sherman which could be had for the same money. is that still the case.
personal thing and i do feel bad doing JTG down as i live and die in their strides, and they are lovely to deal with.

.We have tried to improve the cloth and give them a better handle. Our new double colour Ginghams would likely feel much better. I would of course always recommend Adam of London but there is a massive difference in cut as there is with any Ben Shermans.
We promise to try to do better........

I have two of these. Work for me.
Very nice but you've got to admit that the button closure rolls quite high on this jacket compared to a lot of two button suit jackets out there.
