These Plimsalao's are really nice, especially the beige ones. Like the flat sole.

Have a pair of
B/W Adidas Tokyo's
http://www.trainerstation.com/adidas-tokio-blackwhite-leather-trainers-p-9928.html?siteid=79731&source=webgains

and White/Blue Veja Taua's
http://www.veja-store.com/veja-taua-white-swedish-blue_p335.html

Both more practical for warm summer days,
so toying with the idea to invest in some hungaryian shoe craftmanship, which a friend of mine is wearing

Liking these, LJ

Not much changes from the old forum but still rocking my:

Adidas Japan, red & white originals from 2001
Adidas Italia, green & white kangaroo leather from 2001
Adidas Bowling Shoes
Spring Court in white
Converse Chuck Taylor hit tops in white.

How those pairs of Adidas are in such good condition after all these years I don't know, but they are.

Hi DrGonzo,
I also failed to read anything of these hungarian words. But actually it says, "The webshop is temporarily closed!"...was open some weeks ago...
There are not really a bargain, they cost about 80-90 € depending on style, not sure about postage. But quality is really good (what i can say about the pairs of my friend)

£65-75 for well made trainers doesn't seem too excessive; if they last well, then they'd certainly be worth the money. I'll keep checking the site, thanks for flagging these up  :)

it was a big disappointment to me when i realised supergas aren't made in italy!

i tend to stick to adidis as they generally fit me perfectly (uk 8.5). superstars and stan smith ... or similar.

I adore my New Balance 574s in blue. I feel the same about my burgundy pair too.
