Bump!

Been wearing Adidas non-stop for a while now...

Any left field recommendations?

Would love it if these were re-issued: http://www.modculture.co.uk/onitsuka_tiger_/

Fred Perry have reissued their Table Tennis shoe.  Low profile in a nice mix of canvas and suede.

Nice one! Albeit for a younger gent. I keep a pair of old suede Gazelles, the rest of trainers I own are very basic plimsolls (jack purcells and the like), usually to wear with shorts.  Catalonian brand Matés makes beautiful and technically good trainers that look like their first 60s models (http://www.mates.es/catalogo/108), but I'm afraid they don't have e-shop, so you'll have to visit their Barcelona store to get a pair. And they're expensive, more than 150 € a pair.

I have 3 pairs of trainers to my name 1 Adidas and 2 pairs of Puma . I feel that on the whole , they are indoor shoes , which is fine if I'm mainly driving and then just nipping in somewhere , other than that l feel they do not protect my feet. .

I wear my Clarkes drivers in the house. . 8)

What Pumas do you have, Simon?

It's a dry week in London so the Clarks have re-emerged!  8)

Good question on the Pumas , Robin. .

I don't know the names of them but I have an ivory coloured leather pair and a black suede pair . They are both of the driving style with the offset lacing , very light but the ivory pair are only worn when I go abroad. .

. .I'll be in England soon right enough. .

Looking for some advice

I've had a problem with my foot due to running/jogging (plantar fasciitis)

Can someone suggest a reasonable looking support trainer to wear while on hols.

I wear plain black Nikes in the gym but would like something a bit more, well you know.

Not a big trainer guy but usually wear converse/superga/novesta during summer. Looking for something understated but light and comfy.

I know Sidney's gonna come up trumps here!  ;D

Own a fair few pairs ay trainers Woody.

Comfiest tae wear when ah wis walkin' the dug wur Puma Suedes.  Come in plenty ay colours so ye kin be as bold or understated as ye want tae be.
