Pieter Dorrenboom from Rotterdam is an excellent illustrator, he did the designs for the Primitive 60s garage festival which ran in Rotterdam from 2004 to 2010.

His site is here: http://brush-a-gogo.com/pages/gallery/other/other_08.html

3 purchases this week,

the Eames & Niemeyer prints are by Federico Babina and the Smiths inspired one is from an artist called Claudio Verosio, these may be familiar as they were all flagged up on retro to go...

Alright, alright keep your Alans on!

A touch of cool for my home's walls. This L Dunsby print was a most appreciated present from a fellow forumee. Thanks once more, mate!

I've just bought a couple of Lord D's prints from his Dry British site. Lovely pieces I must say.

Some true beauties on the site, I really like the bleeding madras print.

I'm also a fan of Lord Dunsby but I also love Chris Reccardi.
Amazing pop art with quite a few pieces showing a strong "Mod" vibe (in my humble opinion). See what you think......

Some cracking stuff there, Mutley, and not dissimilar to LD's work

Good shout, Mutley! I didn't know Reccardi, but his work is impressive & the 60s retro/futuristic vibe very strong, tho' I still prefer Dunsby.

The one below is one of my favourites:

But... beware collectors, the Reccardi's prints can command as much as 1.000 + bucks!

Have you guys discussed the work of Chris Reccardi on here yet?

I've been meaning to purchase one of his prints for a while now, but haven't gotten around to it.

This one reminds me a bit of Lord Dunsby:

I've always loved Chris Reccardi, as I grew up watching Ren & Stimpy (showing my age) and intend on getting some of his work.
I have a one-off Paul Hughes (Australian low-brow artist) print on my wall that I've had for the past 7 years that was commissioned for the inaugural Melbourne Mods vs Rockers in 2009. My Rocker mate won it in the raffle... so as I won a bottle of 4 stroke in the raffle, we swapped.  ;D It's a picture of a Mod with his girl on the back (he looks a bit like a Beatle-ish Ringo Starr tbh) and for my 30th birthday, a mate of mine bought me a Dr Alderete picture that was the artwork used on the Los Vulcanos (South American surf band) Meet the Vulcanos album sleeve. See below.

I have a couple of other scooter related/themed photos/artwork on my walls, but that's just because I like it and the walls needed covering. We have - or rather my other half has - a print of Andy Warhol's Flowers on the wall that you can see when you walk in the front door.
