Love The Manfreds. Saw them with Fame a few weeks back too. Never fail to please the crowds with all the hits. They always have some great 'old pals' with them. PP Arnold and Zoot Money last time. Chris Farlowe another time too. Paul is a consummate front man of his age with anecdotes and charm but when he lets rip on that harmonica he is like a kid again. Glad you enjoyed it fella.

I like it, a quite stylish jazz-reggae blend. Is Dammers playing with the current version of the band?

No and Roddy Radiation is no longer there now either. Steve Craddock plays guitar on the live stuff.

I've listened it a few times and really like it. Particularly the piano/keyboards; don't know what you call the guy who replaced Dammers, but he's very good. And Craddock has been excellent when I've seen him play with them, really gets into it

Craddock is a great musician, I love his stuff with OCS, and lately he seems to be everywhere! You're right, doc, the organ/piano interplay on the Specials' track is tasty. I thought it might be Dammers, as he's dabbled in jazzy sounds now and then.

@Mike, the samples of that comp sound ace.

@Woody, good shout! The Otis Redding comparisions are promotional baloney, but the guy's got a soulful voice and the band could only be spanish (as everybody knows, our musicians invented the funk groove)
