Fair point, Mike, a remarkable improvement on their 2nd LP and pointing the way to "Younger...". And of course, "8 Miles High" is one of their peaks, still sounds stunning. Funnily, one of the songs Mo mentions, "I see you" was covered by Yes, no less! The Byrds' original is 8 miles better  ;D

You're dead right about it being not Mod related but man, there's some great tunes here.
I feel very Autumnal listening to this stuff,ha ha.
Just listened to the Yardbirds 68 live album. Interesting enough.

Moving on swiftly.........
Listening to another soundtrack, Up the Junction. Now, I'm not really a fan of the Manfreds but I like this a lot.
Pleased to have two original books, hardback and paperback and the original vinyl as well as the cd and of course the film itself.

I've been a big fan of the film for so long now. Fine, it's not typical Swinging London but I still love it. Especially Maureen Lipman 😀
