The Action - In The Lap Of The Mods dodgy DVD
« on: April 01, 2013, 08:31:00 AM »
Did anyone else experience the dodgy sound on The Action's recent DVD? Thankfully Rob sent me a replacement DVD....

Is this worth getting ie: good quality sound and picture? As someone who got stung for that dismal Chords dvd I don't want to make the same mistake again.

I emailed Rob immediately after watching the DVD and he promptly replied, confirmed there was indeed an authoring problem and confirmed within two weeks a replacement DVD would be sent. True to his words one appeared and plays perfectly. The DVD is well worth grabbing for those who don't have the old video version.

I'd agree with Martin. The sound and picture quality is top notch, especially with the interviews with the band. Although i wish there was more of the interviews. One other slight disappointing thing is there are no live versions of Shadows and Reflections, Never Ever or Something Has Hit Me. Apart from this, superb watching material.

Yep I ordered one for the missus a while back and the sound was fairly poor. I knew Rob was looking to address the issue and to his credit he sent out a replacement DVD a couple of weeks back.

Thanks x 2!

Most of the videos are really old now, some of them on kits I've not even owned for years.

I didn't even get a chance to watch the DVD when a replacement arrived in the post. Its not often that a company will do such a thing so well done that man!
