Ennio Morricone
« on: April 03, 2013, 09:38:46 PM »
One of his song's featured in one of the playlists in the old forum, based on an old French kid's song I think.   One of my children used to call it the evil clown song, if that's any help.  ???   Thanking you in advance.

I'm a big fan of Maestro Morricone. Long shot, but is this the one you mean?

Theme to "Chi l'ha vista morire?". Based on an Italian children's song though, not French.

I love Morricone. 'The ecstasy of gold' from The Good, the bad and the ugly makes the hairs stand up on end and occasionally the eyes to water a bit.

Unfortunately not, but thanks for trying.

Any other hints? I've got about 30-40 albums by Morricone - might be in there somewhere!

For me it's the Fistful of Dynamite soundtrack every time.

"My name is nobody"?
Not aware of it being based on a children's song but it has that ring to it. Wait for the whistle to come in after the first few bars
A great tune either way.
