Vintage record players

Another thing I spend too much time looking at on a well-known auction site.

Kicking things off with this reconditioned Dansette Conquest:

That's nice. I love a record player too. I have a weltron 2007 set up in the living room, although strictly ornamental as the sound quality is not that good. I went through a phase of buying portaes a while ago, have a few stored away. I should start selling really!

Some nice ones there, the Rosita one in particular.

A mate of mine has a vintage late 60s Electrohome system, itīs a thing of beauty and the sound with the original speakers is surprisingly good too...

This is my pride and joy, had it about 5 years now. Bought it reconditioned and I work with a guy who repairs/services valve amps as a 2nd job so he's handy to know, he repaired my Mum's too, exactly the same but in a duck egg blue in stead of red.
