The return of the most mod biscuit poll
« on: April 09, 2013, 08:17:40 PM »
As there seems to be some discussion elsewhere about which biscuit was chosen as the most mod biscuit last time out (sure it was the Bourbon Cream), we're running it again.

Feel free to comment below and if you can't see your favourite, mention below and it will be added to the list...

I thought it was the Bourbon - a British biscuit with European influence!

Ten years ago I'd have gone for a rich tea, custard cream or similar. I'm more refined now and a garibaldi is where it's at for me these days

Has a 'most mod cake' ever been discussed? Malt loaf, tons of butter, cuppa. Cake and liquid heaven <runs for cover>  ;)

I voted chocolate digestive on the assumption they are a) McVities and b) plain chocolate.

Mod cake? Battenberg, without question. But that's for another day!

No doubt, the Bourbon, I remember them from my first trips to GB when I was a kid, delicious. By the way, I love the sentence  "English with an European influence", applied to a biscuit!!!!!!!!! Was it from a commercial?

I voted Custard Cream for its understated elegance.
I am however a massive Jaffa Cake fan, surely the most forward thinking of biscuits.
