Crombie or smart winter coats

I got a pure wool black and white herringbone Hickey-Freeman chesterfield for $99 new with tags.

Nice looking coat...would have to see it in the flesh first though. They do them in navy and camel also.

In the Yoox's sales you can find some fairly decent made in Italy coats for less than 200 , among them this from their own brand "8":

Finding a decent wool fitted overcoat (maybe with a velvet top collar) or a nice wool early 60s style car coat for under that kind of money is a difficult one. Now let me think...... No, just can't remember where I saw them, sorry... ::)

After a nightmare tryin' tae get the courier tae deliver it, finally goat ma hauns oan this Mackintosh coat.



Might change the buttons, but otherwise ah'm very pleased wi' it.  215 knocked doon fae 615 oan Brand Outlet.


Will help me carry off that Charles Endell Esq. look.

Nice coat Budgie....I see from the link that your coat was probably made just along the road from your auld stompin ground Laird,though hopefully the guy in the first photie didnt go near it!  :o ;)
