Levi's Vintage Clothing
« on: April 06, 2017, 09:07:12 AM »
Truth is LVC has always been a hit-or-miss affair. Some of their repro pieces are worthy, especially in the trews department, but they're awfully expensive anyway, so a brand to check in the sales' season.

The actual spring/summer stuff, tho', must be one of the lowest points of the brand. Inspired in the "summer of love" 50th anniversary (a bad omen in itself), even the t-shirts are disappointing. But the icing on the cake are the so-called "crazy legs'" trousers, a string of abominations that apparently Levi's manufactured at the late 60s to cater to bandwagon jumpers and weekend hippies. I wonder who'll wear them now.

Look like the LVC 519 bedfords which were really nice before they were later ruined.
It seems LVC have ruined them again.

Sigh...
