New season
« on: April 20, 2017, 10:20:08 AM »
First scooter run of the year for me this Sunday. A short run from Belfast to Moira (about 20 miles) organised by the A2 Aces and in aid of Aware, a NI-based mental health charity. Hoping for dry weather, a good turn out and some muchh needed funds for a good cause. Ride safe, scooter family!!

Good luck with the weather, doc, and with the takings, of course. Enjoy!

Everytime I've gone within 6 feet of my scooter in the past three weeks the weather has suddenly decided gale force winds are necessary.

It's unbelievable. I thought i would have a quick evening run out tonight, but judging by the tree outside that is bent double, that won't be happening.

Sod's law, Stax, always the way. Our run today was looking dicey yesterday as it rained all day and more was forecast for today. But it stayed dry, though it was a tad brisk around the balearics!! About 70 scoots turned up, which was decent given the run clashed with the Celtic v Rangers game. Waiting to hear, but seems a decent wedge was raised for the charity. Happy days  8)
