I'll be in Dublin first week of December, any shops or events worth checking out? Not really able to leave Dublin during that time, but will have a full day Saturday to leave the city if need be. Any ideas?

Mutley, from this parish, lives in Dublin, or nearby, but it's a long while since he last posted, I don't know if he checks the forum regularly. Doc Gonzo is from Belfast, maybe he can help you. Enjoy!

Thanks Laird, I'll check it out. That shop is apparently a 10 min walk from my hotel. A local friend advised the gaol as well, so I'll try and make that.

I would second the Laird's recommendation , Kilmainham gaol is well worth a visit if you are into a bit of history , you will probably recognise the inside as it has been used in many a movie. .
. .also the Temple bar area as there are some great pubs there too . .
I wont make any deals with you , I've resigned. .
