The Acoustic Egg Box Top 20 Albums of 2017 (No's 20-11)
« on: December 29, 2017, 04:41:18 PM »
Afternoon all!

As this has now become something of an annual, and far too time-consuming (ask the wife!) event, here is the first part of my Acoustic Egg Box Albums of 2017.

https://wp.me/p9hY2N-5q

I hope you enjoy the list - there are undoubtedly some glaring omissions though!

Best Wishes and a Happy New Year all
Ian

Happy New Year to you and yours too, Ian. You have yourself to blame, you've spoilt us with the list and now it has become a Christmas tradition, and a welcome one at that. I'll be reading it tomorrow.

Well, Ian, thanks to your catholic tastes and eloquence, one more year you've dragged me out of my confort zone -yes, I'm pretty conservative and still listen mostly to music 40-60 years old- and given me some homework to do/listen to. Last year the effort payed with Michael Kiwanuka, so I'm more than willing.

Now on to the best 10 albums!

Thank you my friend!

I have the final list all ready, I'm just in the process of writing a few words on each of the albums in the top 10. All being well it should be posted up on the site by early afternoon tomorrow. I will of course let you know

Have a great day tomorrow and here's to a prosperous, healthy and elegant 2018

Best wishes
Ian

That sounds depressing.

Thanks Ian, no doubt they'll be some that I won't have heard of and will no doubt end up in my collection.
Not stuck in the 60's
