Blue Note documentary
« on: April 09, 2018, 08:53:16 AM »
Now this one looks pretty essential. A documentary about mighty jazz label Blue Note based on interviews with the key musicians that are still alive (Herbie Hancock or Lou Donaldson) and some classy pics and clips. Well, here is the trailer, with a first screening of the movie scheduled later this month in the Sundance Festival. Coooool!:

Thanks, Woody. I'm not really aware of the nowadays jazz scene, but sometimes it's good to learn one or two things about it.
