The Action box set
« on: June 15, 2018, 03:51:40 PM »
New 4-cd box set of The Action's output on the way from Cherry Red in September.

There's little new material but good to have all in one place.    And hopefully the quality of recordings will be the best possible.

Who'll be buying it?

Good shout, Warren (the link doesn't work for me, tho')! I've got just two vinyl comps that cover reasonably well both phases of their (60s) trajectory (one of them the mighty EDSEL album "hosted" by Paul Weller), but I might grab this too, it's one of those bands that deserve the "complete recordings" treatment.

Interested in these improved recordings so have pre-ordered the LP.

Now looking at this re-mastered release of Rolled Gold.

I've got the unofficial EDSEL vinyl "hosted" by Paul Weller and this box set is very interesting
Broad minds, narrow ties
