I'm not sure if I've posted something about this, but be that as it may the book is finally at GS's place, and looks like essential purchase for those interested in the arrival, and reception, of blue beat and its offshots to Britain.

A gorgeous hardcover coffee table book with a stunning graphic display -memorabilia, records' covers, you know the stuff. Besides, first-hand account from the movers and shakers of the genre and of course from the people behind Trojan itself. Given the scarcity of good reference books on 60s-70s west indian music, this one is a most welcome addition to them. An outstanding jamaican gift coupled with the LVC polo cardigan!
