White Album

This looks like the definitive word on the Beatles' White Album. My question is (and I'm a Beatles' fan): is anyone willing to pay 90 € (135 € if you buy the 7 CD boxset) to listen to that word?

Will certainly keep an eye on this as like yourself I am a bit of a Beatle nut. However given various bootlegs and issues of the album proper I have I may give this a miss unless it comes right down in price.

While I tend to not buy these re-issues if I have the "original" already, the re-mix of Sgt Pepper was so much better sounding than the copy I bought in the 60's, Don't know if I want to go for the 7 cd package, but I would like the Esher demos.

The Esher demos were a popular bootleg many moons ago, bits and pieces of them appearing in the essential "Anthology" collections. I agree it would be great to have the lot properly compiled, but the whole pack is too expensive. I wouldn't be surprised that the 7cd box is duly split up in smaller packages in the future (Beatles are still serious business).

Like most on here I do like the Beatles but my prolific days of listening to them was probably mid 8ts. The white album was probably my least favourite Beatles album it kind of misses me I reckon. 

Probably Revolver is my favourite album but Rubber Soul is a close second . However my favourite song has been I Should Have Known Better , for about the last 30yrs. 

A friend of mine has obsessively collected every Beatles single apart from one. 

I think he needs Help. .
