Mid-Century Modern Graphic Design by Theo Inglis
« on: February 21, 2019, 05:28:06 PM »
Mentioned this on the forum's FB page:

Published in May, it looks absolutely beautiful.  Cheaper to pre-order from hive.co.uk than Amazon

And will you shorten the sleeves, love? I'm not a gorilla.

+ 1, I've got my far share of books on mid-century design, deco and furniture, but this one seems to tick all the right boxes to me in just one volume.

Arrived today. As expected,  the illustrations are stunning (pages have a matt finish) and the text is informed and educational. It's grouped into categories:  record sleeves (which I'm just reading), book covers, promotional posters, magazine covers and illustrated books. Anyone with just a passing interest would love this. A must have! Really can't recommend it enough.

Thanks for the heads up, Ady, I had forgotten I'd pre-ordered this! But I'll still have to wait a bit, I'm afraid.
