I thought about masks, but unsure as in my location and situation, not sure how practical thought would be (and since when I do go out it's to bars and then I don't wear a mask as I am too busy swilling liquor), the pocket square as mentioned was a non-starter, but maybe a handkerchief that I could keep inside my coat? I suppose I could store it away in the even of the collar or cuffs starting to fray.

Well , that is a matter of opinion.  When it comes to my personal  health l like to delve in and do my research thoroughly,  and as far as l can find there is NO scientific evidence to back up a cloth mask saving you from anything apart from some dust maybe . Personally,  l don't believe in conspiracy theories nor do l believe everything  lame stream media cares to say as gospel.  This is the longest , l have ever known anything from China to last. The truth is out there. .

I totally agree, I don't see what the big problem is with them anyway tbh, if they work then great if the effect is minimal its hardly a big inconvenience.

The problem is they are likely to do more harm than good , breathing in your own CO2 to name but one negative effect , oh aye , and being totally ineffective against a virus .
The current 'crisis' is full of fake science   . Don't take my word for it though go check it oot .
