Always amazed how footie fans constantly demand more and more spending on players, but then moan about the price of tickets.

It's as if they expect the 'money fairy' to come along and pay all those transfer fees, wages etc.

Take my club Wolves, 35 million steve morgan has spent on players(top ten in the country) since his reign begun and mick mccarthy slashed it all up the wall, id say he's well within his right to tighten the purse strings
Alright, alright keep your Alans on!

Mick's at my club now where he definitely won't be given any money to waste, that's for sure  :-\

When Morgan was in for buying Liverpool I wasn't thrilled but to be fair I think he's done a decent job at Wolves. You can't keep expecting him to put millions of pounds into a club losing money. Also clubs aren't that easy to sell now.

I don't expect Morgan to keep splashing money at Wolves, but I do expect him to take some responsibility for shambles that has happened over the last few years. His managerial decisions have been attrocious!

Blackburn, 8000 on for an FA Cup quarter final.

Would love to blame Blackburn, but I blame all the people who have happily devalued the competition over the years. Including the FA itself.

It annoys me that the semi finals are at Wembley. Look at last season, all of merseyside travelling down south when they could of been going to Old Trafford/Villa park.

You're right though all the FA are bothered about is sitting in their boxes at Wembley for the final once a year.

I support Partick thistle, this season has probably been the best in years. A good ,tight league with us and Morton battling it out for promotion. keep waiting for the wheels to fall off though :-\

After very poor performances since Christmas it's great that Millwall are going to Wembley. Everyone comes out the closet, 40,000 at Wembley when the average home gate is around 9000!

good luck .......... i enjoyed pompey's recent trips to wembley. particularly beating spurs in the semi. although, like mws, i'd actually prefer wembley kept for finals.
