Cool classic cars
« on: March 13, 2013, 08:36:23 PM »
Spend far too much of my time looking for weird and wonderful classic cars for sale...without actually buying.

This is today's fave, the Daimler Dart:

Currently got a black Datsun 260Z 2+2 sitting on our drive and a white Reliant Scimitar locked away in storage. Both unfortunately in need of doing up since they were both toy's of my father's youth and he can't bare the idea of parting with them! Shame, it'd be nice to see either one hit the road. Datsun just like the one below (not my photo but will get one.)

Hard to beat one of these (with a lottery win of course...)

I always wanted a Ford Zodiac MK2 and after I came off my scooter and bounced up the dual carriageway I thought that's it I'm getting it. So I paid £1K and was the proud owner of one. Beautiful car had a MK3?gearbox so no column change but it was black with plenty of chrome, with bench seats, quarter lite windows and then alas along came a wife and mortgage and it had to go to be replaced by a mini metro of all things. I'll post a picture later can't seem to do it on a ipad

I'm not hugely fussed about cars but that's lovely
