Hear, hear!

Just as well I wear sheer stockings or thick warm tights with my loafers or my heels, then... even when I'm on way to see PP Arnold in Melbourne and it was bloody freezing.  ;D   ;)

Thanks for your suggestions, Becky, but I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable wearing stockings or tights, lol! With the humidity here I doubt talk would solve the issue either.

BTW, enjoy the PP Arnold gig!

 ;)

I did enjoy it! Fantastic night and having purchased a VIP ticket made it even more memorable as I had a few photos with her and a few autographs!  :) She was very humble, gracious, down to earth and electrifying all rolled into one!

Looks like a great evening! Maybe the lady will come to Spain some day, I've always rated her high as a singer and her Immediate records are superb.

I prefer to wear my boating blazers with loafers, trousers AND socks.
However, going out Saturday night to a Rocker mate's party just outside Melbourne wearing loafers, sheer stockings, French cuff shirt, dress and vintage boater... The blazer courtesy of Mike Ferrante on etsy.  ;) Should be an interesting night, despite crap weather being forecast...  :(

Watch out, Becky, you'll be in greasers' territory! Just joking, enjoy the party.

I've been hanging out with the Victorian branch of the famous 59 Club on and off since I participated in the first Mods vs Rockers charity ride in 2009. Very entertaining bunch of people as we always take the piss out of each other without the fisticuffs... even at our own Brighton Beach (Melbourne).  ;) Their Club nights/events are usually restricted to Club members only, but my other half and I have always been allowed to attend.

Any kind of smart shoe with shorts looks odd.
