An old french brand of ski equipment, Rossignol, has launched an urban apparel offshot that's got some great merino garments in its range, not miles away from the classic ski sweaters of yore or the wool cycling tops we all love. I'd gladly wear any of the tops below, if not for the prices, none of them below the 200 mark.

Nice but pricey.  N' ah never wear the red/white/blue colour scheme either.

Might be interested if they came in other shades.

Them being french, I doubt they use another colour scheme in their stripes, Laird, you should take a look in their website (http://www.rossignol.com/SP/ES/clothing-men-aps-knitwear.html) ; I've always loved that colour combination, from the far away target days.

Nice but wouldn't wear anything with a badge on the arm.
Not stuck in the 60's

I don't mind the badge -or a logo- as long as it's small and discreet.

Talking of which was at a vintage car rally today. Largely 1950s and American but with some nice European and British vehicles in there too. Most of the folk involved dress accordingly so although often not my style it is nice to see people make the effort and do it 'proper' with the right gear to match the car. However there was a bloke walking around clearly very into it all with a wool hat, a denim jacket, half mast cargo pants and trainers. Under his arm was an Elvis CD box set bought from one of the traders there I'm sure. Nothing wrong with any of that as he was harmless and clearly very enthused by it all but then he came over to see my pals vintage 1969 Lancia. He nodded at us both and we both were taken aback with his Target badge with the words 'A WAY OF LIFE' emblazoned across it. Bonkers.
