Still dying for one of these Stansfield Hunting Jackets in a size 36 if anyone would happen to know where I could source such a wonderful outer garment.

I really like that smedley but wish it was a crew neck - really can't stand to wear roll neck jumpers

Something very different from Smedley:

As said, would make a nice crew neck. As a roll neck it looks a bit 'Atom Retro'.

I think the stripes and roll neck together are a tad much. Did buy a roll neck the other day though, its orange, so I can't really talk about things being 'a bit much'

I like it, tho I think J.Smedley is too expensive. Saw a photo of the same sweater but this time black with white and red stripes, nicer to me.

Too expensive?

Do you mean to expensive for you or just too expensive (ie not good value)?

Mmmm interesting question. The Smedleys are quality & well made items, no doubt, but there's similar knitwear from less known labels that's cheaper (and made in the UE too). JS is too expensive in that sense (145 pounds for a cotton polo!?), though there are labels (Dolce Gabanna, Hugo Boss, you name it...) that are in fact thieves with their profit margins.

In my case, I like JS but I tend to search their clobber in the sale (they've got an outlet online) & skew the usual plain tops in favour of their riskier pieces.
