After getting this jacket home and inspecting, there is a thin lining on front and shoulder. Also a couple of concealed internal pockets which is a bonus.

It gets better everytime! Anxious to get my hands on it.

I've come across the parisian brand Harmony Paris. In common with another upscale youth-oriented french clothing brands (like the riskier Kooples or the duller Sandro) they have a mostly discreet, subtle approach to stye, with no item too loud or garish, and that's a plus in my book. The downside is that those brands are too generic, and you end up buying overpriced basic garments.

But I'm digressing. Here are some ítems I like from them:

First some Harris tweed outerwear:

An apres ski/cycling-ish sweater:

And a plain short sleeved cardie with polo collar (at last a decently sized collar)

This wool Prada number could be an alternative for the River Island polos we've seen recently; that is, if you don't mind paying 700 € for it

At these prices, I bet the wool comes from the bloody Golden Fleece.

New in at Mango.  They ur callin' this a "biker" jaiket, but it looks like a trucker style tae me.

Albeit wi' big side pockets.  No sure aboot the pockets but ah'd still take a closer look at it if ah saw it in the shop.

It looks pretty decent (even the side pockets) and 150 € for a suede jacket (even if the suede is "serraje", a lower quality leather) seems a fair deal, maybe I take a look in the near Mango store.

This Mango black long sleeved polo ain't bad looking either:

Hey, they're even selling their own take on the Harrington, but the pockets are zipped!
