For those with a little less cash, Lands' End have a range of short sleeve Madras shirts for just 29.95

I like the checks and cloth. Look like the ralph lauren custom fit checks. BUT the : -

Traditional Fit: the classic American cut, with plenty of ease

size description fills me with dread. This shirt sounds like it will flap in the wind.

Yes, I picked up on that too but have ordered a couple today but sized down to hopefully avoid any "sail like" qualities.

Those cufflinks are just great! Sadly they are gone - someone bought them before I made up my mind...

Just ordered a madras myself, I've gone for my normal size though - hoping I'm not mistaken with the fit.

Hate to rain on anyone's parade but...the old I'd Wear That thread was for clothes that were not strictly mod but a little left of centre so to speak...at least that's how i remember it.

I'd say only a couple of the posts so far reflect this.

Quite like that jacket woody 64, but not convinced with the bold breast pocket.

Anybody heard of this shirt company Olymp?

Seem to have a few decent patterns on their BD collection...
