Wouldn't wear that casually but I'd love to have a pair for cycling to work.

Really cool mix of styles. I'd wear that too.

The lapel shape is especially nice.  I've a olive green sack jacket with very similar lapels but the overall shape of the jacket is more standard Ivy.

does it have a very slight checked pattern to it or is that just my monitor messing up? it's nice but wouldn't fit going by the measurements.

Interesting but very close in style to a pair of cycling shoes I have which rarely see the light of day. Just not really sure what occasion and outfit to bring them out. If I'm going for casual I tend to defer to dessies or Gazelles.
