Rod. Have a look at Modshoes' Digsy jacket, that is a bit more showeproof, or alternatively a Coaches jacket from Gloverall. I can recommend both mate for a shower proof (but not pi##ing down) jacket.

Sorry but just couldn't help posting this new shirt. I was too excited after trying to get it right for the last couple of years.
Reverse stripe on collar, body and cuffs. Someone might like it. Thought you should all have an exclusive as it only came in half hour ago.

Liking that, Adam, the collar looks just right.

Yup I saw those. Also very nice but also cotton so unlikely much good in a shower.

You could make it work in a shower{a cotton jacket} by adding this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nikwax-Tx-Direct-Wash-Waterproofer/dp/B000LN3NA0/ref=sr_1_1?crid=26LBTP4GZ0Q8X&dchild=1&keywords=nikwax%2Btx%2Bdirect%2Bwash%2Bin%2Bwaterproofer&qid=1575619813&sprefix=nikwax%2Btx%2Bdirect%2Caps%2C171&sr=8-1&th=1&psc=1 , which will give it an invisible shower proof/ water repellant coating. .
I wont make any deals with you , I've resigned. .
I wont be pushed, filed , stamped , indexed , briefed , debriefed OR NUMBERED!

Just for a change, some affordable numbers that look quite nice. These jumpers are made by Spanish high street brand Springfield, they're 100% cotton and are reduced right now to 20 :

More Springfield stuff, these ones aren't miles away from the apres-ski tops I've been featuring here, only much cheaper (30, all cotton), if you can live with the tiny logo, that is. There's even a Green Brigades-approved one!!

Nice one Adam and good post Sydney. .

I feel that the jacket has some MA-1 elements which l like very much . .

Does anyone know which brand of monkey jacket Weller wears in the recent DVD  , Other Aspects ? It has a sheen to it that l like . It reminds me of a guy l knew years ago who had an MA-1  fabricated from silk , it had a lovely sheen. .

It'd help if you'd post a pic of Weller wearing that jacket, maybe it's the Maison Kitsune number he's been seen wearing on occassion.

I'd put this is "Italian Knits", but I don't know where it was made https://www.jigsaw-online.com/product/carr-buttoned-merino-knit/J39377_BL074

Tried one of these on in Next and they are actually pretty nice, except the alrready-seems-to-small collar actually seems even smaller in the flesh https://www.next.co.uk/style/st402177#509763  :(

Nice find, Cord! I mean the Jigsaw button through polo/cardie (the Next numbers have already been discussed here and Rod even bought one of them, that looked quite nice, collar aside), a simple, understated piece with a muted retro charm. Good discount too. A pity they haven't got the blue one in my size, as I think it looks much better than the "biscuit" one.
