Leather jackets & coats (excepting suede) are a no-no for me, I don't know why,  maybe they remind me of my youth's gangs of greasers  :(

I'm gonna try to change your mind Syd - watch this space when the cold weather comes!

I've had a jacket just like that since the late nineties but it rarely sees the light of day. In fact I'm struggling to remember when I last wore it. It probably needs tailoring as it will have been bought during the last period when three button jackets were readily available, but the style was very shapeless and boxy.
Hard to know what I would wear it with now, in those days it was probably a long sleeved polo and chinos to fit with a business casual gig I had then.

I had one like that made to measure when I was about 19 . It also had a ticket pocket with flap and the top button was a wee bit higher than the one in the photo . It also had side vents , 5 inches long . . of course. .

The leather was very soft but it fitted me like a glove . I no longer have it because I grew out of it. . ;) but it looked great with a nice pair of white Levis Sta-prest . .

At the risk of becoming a drag with the popover bussiness, I'd like to point out that Claudio is offering -at last- 2 gorgeous cord popovers in the DNA page. Here's my favourite:

I discovered by chance this french shoes brand -M Moustache- and I'm liking their Marcel derby, most of all the simplicity of the diagonal strap and their stylized look, they seem comfortable too.

That is a decent enough item , Leon but you can get very similar items at the jumble sale known as TK Max for around 25. .so, if you don't mind having a rummage you can save yourself a ton. . ;)

I like it, but I have to agree with Simon, lots of similar and cheaper alternatives everywhere: AGC, JtG, Merc, David Watts...
