From the off, I'll admit I'm no fan boy of Fred Perry or anything with a logo on per se, however I do like these two offerings from FP. Both from their archive re-issue collection neither are cheap, but they are both Made in Italy and are a cut above their usual polo shirts.

The first is a textured "waffle knit" http://www.fredperry.com/laurel-wreath-collection/men/shirts/twin-tipped-textured-knit-shirt-k4146.html

The other is a 60's inspired slim knit with a 4 button placket detail and longer style collar:

Cheers Steve, I love Fred Perry waffle knits. My current three button jobs are coming to teh end of their life so this is great timing.

No problem Neil. They're also available from End at the same price if the FP site doesn't have your size. I'm torn between the two.

Have a black Italian waffle knit with pink tipping, quite like it.

I wish the logo wasn't there on the waffle knit, or maybe stitched with a thread color that matched the knit. Its almost a distraction from the really great texture of the knit.
All gold guzzlers, wallabee clarks
Young cold hustlers, obviously sharp

You'd have to be an utter fool to pay that. Nice though. I'll try and get one in the sale before they sell out in under a second.
