Hi Nick - understand what you mean but I do think it's nicely different - I've certainly seen worse celebrity-clothing collaborations than Robbie William's... not so fast Raf Simon's we can see you sneaking out....

I also like this (albeit possibly lacking another row or tow of buttons), but probably it's the appeal of the high break and rather natty tie!

Haha, I hear ya re Simons, ouch!!

Now THAT I do like! Like you say, another two rows of buttons and that's perfect, but I'd definitely wear it as is! And yeah, that tie has got it going on  8)

Like that DB, don't think it needs more buttons personally, although i'd maybe have another row... not another 2 rows though  ;)

Even w/ 4 buttons, I'd do it! If it wasn't maybe just shy of the size I need...

nice DB - the 4x2 high-stance buttoning makes it 'interesting' (prefer a 6x3 buttuning) IMO

Does anyone dig button through cardignas under odd jackets? Something I do not do but if there is enough contrasting colour, pattern and texture then 'I'd wear that'

Funnily enough I've got a 'cardigan' & 'suit jacket' outfit lined up for my next outing, I'll get a picture up when it comes to the night!

Step away from the cardigan jacket combo and remain calm.
This is a sure sign of moving towards the 'well its comfortable and thats more important than looks' attitude which has as its logical conclusion, socks and sandles.
Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should.

It's a very popular winter look among certain regulars on Styleforum etc. but it's not for me. I moved to a warm climate cos I hate the winter, and as a result don't really 'do' knitwear much at all.  I don't think I've owned a cardigan since I was a toddler.

Jonny - look forward to seeing your go at it.

Trotsky - lol! think if its done away form the formal-casual look of greys, browns, blues ... and try it with fair isles, colours, check etc could work. I havent done it yet but just saying
