I like the look of them Steve. I have a couple of pairs of Clark's dessies but the shape seems to vary from pair to pair so I'm careful to get them with a slightly narrower toe to a kid the duck billed look.

Clark's will always be the original dessies kings but these seem to have a great narrow toe shape. Take note all of you praising those Cornish Pastie shoes on the other thread!

;D Rod, yes we called those style of Clark's Pasties too.

I like Clarks Dessies and have several pairs. You're right about them varying too. The newer ones seem to be a lot stiffer as well. They were much nicer when they were made at their old factory in Street, Somerset. My last two pairs were made in Vietnam I think.

Talking of dessies I saw some Loakes slim profile dessies with leather soles in TK Maxx (Sheffield) for 90 last Saturday. Considered buying some but I've already got about 6 pairs of dessies
Do it well

They're not half bad, especially coming from the maker of those hideous square toed plasticky platypus slip ons that seemed to be everywhere you looked a couple of years ago!

I've been able to find a pair from them every now and then that do look nice...

Like a lot this coat, the blue thread is a nice detail, and it's not too expensive at 450 (it's made in Portugal)

Like the pattern GS, but I think it's a coat that's not going to hold it's shape too well, especially if it rains
Do it well
