Sydney you do love your hybrid items don't you?
That looks like a Harrington in Oxford cloth but with a hood added. Change the zip for a popover set of buttons and it's the Greenstreet Holy Grail!

I like just some hybrid garments, Rod, most of them just mess up the two things they're are mixing, but now that you mention it, the three buttons set of a popover would look fine on this jacket  ;).

The shoes I can see them looking fine on a younger chap with a lot of self-confidence (Clarks made something similar with the dessies a while ago and I thought: "they're not for me, but I don't dislike them").

I'd definitely wear the cagoule if I wore jeans more often. The shoes look like something a snooker player might wear, not for me!!

You read my mind, I noticed too they have a certain femenine element, so they could fit in the androgynous mod approach to clothes  ::) .

Ah now , you see the current hairstyle I'm forced to adopt makes the androgynous approach to Mod , less likely as an option . . ::)

http://www.fredperry.com/shop The Nigel Cabourn collection, I think I like the 50's style Polo and the track top is not bad either. Mad prices as usual!
