Love that jacket Syd. Not happy about the logo - wonder of it could easily be removed (or covered with one of Simon's badges!)

+1 on that jacket. I don't actually mind a logo on this sort of jacket and, whilst not subtle, I think the jacket would look a little 'bare' without it. A bit like the Fila 'tennis' jackets that were/are hugely popular with the casual/indie crowd. The badge just kinda works for me

Good point on the Fila link, Doc! It reminds me of some of their stuff too, but Le Coq Sportif is classier, I own some of their cycling tops and they're good quality. The best white monkey jacket I've seen was made by Gant Rugger 3 or 4 seasons ago, a beauty, but I didn't find it in my size.

I don't think you can remove easily one of these embroidered logos, Rod  :'(

I could happily live with LCS jacket. The logo (the Gallic Cockerel or Rooster) is quite endearing and certainly emblematic on a classic French brand.

Logo wouldn't bother me. Maybe the cycling connection or summit. I have another of there polo's, and the buttons are stupid rubber jobs. Nice shirt, especially the collar, but the buttons annoy me.

So I take it that Ashcroft is wearing that D-tec effort. I generally detest  the hoody so I'm out on that one . It does have the older style pockets, without the flaps which reminded me of my 1964 vintage MA-1 which I got from here  https://www.vintagetrends.com/military/thumbnails.asp?MC=Military+Vintage&CA=Men&SC=Jackets%2FCoats&ST=MA%2D1+flight+jacket  , the older ones have wool batting inside them also, as opposed to the modern fabrics. .
I wont make any deals with you , I've resigned. .
I wont be pushed, filed , stamped , indexed , briefed , debriefed OR NUMBERED!

Now this is truly a beauty, tho' only for the most daring and affluent gents here, I'm afraid. And just for the tall ones. Being a cape, not a coat or mac, a chap as short as me would look like a bolivian coffee picker in it. It's an italian designer piece and you won't get it for less than 1.000 $.
