I have a couple of Madcap 100percent knitted cotton long sleeved tops. The royal blue cycling top with the red and white chest hoop and the the off white crew neck jumper with red and blue racing stripes. Neither has had much wear in my sunny climes, bought with a trip home in mind, but quality X price was OK for me.

Same here Rod. Also a couple of knitted tees. Half decent for the money, and probably the only more mass market company I would look at

I, too, have a few Madcap pieces. Yes, they're never going to stand up against Claudio's offerings or the Connection stuff but, for the money you pay, they are decent. Usually true to size, wash well, keep their shape and look good. Got quite a few positive comments from fellow travellers, followed by a "where from?" and "how much??" Worth a punt

I think this may have featured somewhere on here before, but I think I like the reworked Harrington this company is pushing towards cyclists...

Features of a harrington jacket:

Two button funnel collar
Elastic knitted cuffs and hem
Button down flapped pockets
Umbrella vent in the back
Usually tartan lining
Cotton or poly cotton

How is this a ‘Harrington’?

Just like how these days ninety percent of raincoats are ‘trench’ coats when many of them are absolutely nowt like a trench coat!
