Plein Soleil
« on: August 05, 2013, 07:42:10 AM »
This 1960 French film starring Alain Delon is  being released in September as a special digitally restored edition on DVD and Blu-ray.
I have never seen the film and apparently it  is based on The Talented Mr Ripley book.
I was just wondering if any one has seen it and is it worth the 12 pounds that Amazon are asking for it or just save my money?
Its in the blood.

I've got this film and it is fabulous; it has style, panache, a tense story line: it really does tick all the boxes.
And will you shorten the sleeves, love? I'm not a gorilla.

Excellent film and like Ady C said it has style (in all the implications of that word)!
Most films with Alain Delon are worth watching, in my humble opinion, as he just looks so damn cool.
But, this film in particular is one of his absolute best.
Keep the faith, keep on keeping on, and keep it Mod!

Everything about it is just fantastic and Alain Delon even looks good when wearing no socks; it's that cool ;)
