"The small world of Sammy Lee".  Can't remember seeing this before. Brilliant 1963 soho, Mods, Gangsters, Gambling, Girls. My kinda film.

Been on Talking Pictures TV quite a bit over the summer, Adam, great film. Anthony Newley is brilliant as the titular character.

If I'm not mistaken, Martin endorsed that one some time ago, pretty difficult to get a subtitled DVD here tho'. I'll have to get me the bfi edition. One more for the list.

Yep an absolute cracker. Generally each Saturday I walk in poor old 'Sammy's' footsteps dobbing around the area but not under the pressure he was under thankfully. Great support cast, music, clobber, atmosphere you name it.

Talking pictures is just about the only thing I watch nowadays. Glad I'm not the only one... 8)

I know, people don't like criticism especially if it rings true.
